RJD released its manifesto without consulting Congress. The Congress party is also being sidelined in the ongoing election campaign, indicating growing animosity.

Modi Attacks Opposition on ‘Operation Sindoor’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp critique against the Congress and RJD during a rally in Arrah, Bihar. He stated the country’s morale increased following the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’. However, he noted that opposition parties did not appreciate this achievement. He specifically mentioned that the Congress and its ally, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), were unhappy with ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Targeting the Gandhi family, he said, “Explosions happened in Pakistan, but the sleep of the royal family of Congress was disturbed. Pakistan and the Congress Naamdaar have not yet recovered from the shock of Operation Sindoor.”
Claims of Major Tension in Grand Alliance
PM Modi asserted that significant tension exists within the alliance over seat distribution. He claimed a “big game” was played behind closed doors just before the final date for withdrawing nominations. According to him, Congress did not want to declare an RJD leader as the Chief Ministerial face. Yet, the RJD ultimately got its way by exerting “pressure.”
PM Modi stated that severe internal strife is present in the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar. He alleged that the RJD leader was chosen as the CM candidate at “gunpoint.”
‘Fighting Before Polls, What Will Happen Later?’ – Modi Taunts
PM Modi highlighted the increasing discord between the RJD and Congress. The manifesto was released by the RJD without taking Congress into confidence. Furthermore, Congress is not being listened to in the election campaign. He remarked that if this is the situation before the election, things will deteriorate afterward. PM Modi further commented that such people cannot bring prosperity to Bihar.
‘Jungle Raj’ Versus ‘Good Governance’
In his speech, PM Modi contrasted the former RJD rule with the current NDA government. He labeled the RJD era as ‘Jungle Raj,’ symbolizing cruelty, guns, superstition, misgovernance, and corruption. He credited Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the NDA government with pulling Bihar out of that challenging period.
‘Opposition Protects Infiltrators’
The Prime Minister accused opposition parties of supporting infiltrators. He asked the public if Bihar’s resources did not belong to them. He cautioned that those protecting infiltrators pose a threat to Bihar. PM Modi questioned how parties that previously shut down industries would now set up new ones. He claimed investors fear ‘Lantern’ (RJD’s election symbol) and ‘Red Flag’ (CPI-ML’s symbol). He asserted that only the NDA government could bring investment and jobs to Bihar.
