Prashant Kishor’s Double-Barrel Attack: Slams Tejashwi on ‘Jungle Raj’ and PM Modi on Broken Promises

Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor demanded an apology from Tejashwi Yadav for 15 years of ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar and simultaneously targeted Prime Minister Modi over unfulfilled old commitments.

As the Bihar Assembly elections draw nearer, political rhetoric is intensifying. The Mahagathbandhan (RJD+Congress) and NDA (BJP+JDU) are generating electoral buzz with relentless rallies. Meanwhile, Jan Suraaj, led by Prashant Kishor, is creating an alternative political wave. In a meeting held in Motihari, Prashant Kishor not only launched a sharp critique of Tejashwi Yadav but also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP leadership.

Demand for Apology to End ‘Jungle Raj’ Politics

Prashant Kishor told the audience in Motihari that Tejashwi Yadav, despite being the Mahagathbandhan’s CM face, should first apologize for his parents’ 15-year rule. He asserted that unless Tejashwi accepts the ‘Jungle Raj’ that prevailed in Bihar during that period, his development promises appear dishonest. Kishor added that if Tejashwi admits to the mistakes of his father Lalu Prasad Yadav and mother Rabri Devi’s governance and apologizes, the public might believe they have reformed. Citing the Congress party’s example of apologizing for the Sikh riots, Kishor insisted that the RJD must also publicly apologize for its administrative errors.

Targeting PM Modi on Unkept Promises

Prashant Kishor made a surprising revelation at the Motihari meeting. He claimed he had actually written Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech about the Motihari sugar mill during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In that speech, Modi had promised to “drink tea with the sugar from this closed mill” upon his next visit. Kishor questioned the audience, stating that 11 years have passed, yet the sugar mill remains closed, and the promise is unfulfilled. Moreover, the land has been sold off in pieces. He sarcastically asked who the buyers were. He criticized the public for repeatedly voting for those who prioritize broken promises over development. He further urged people to vote for the factory if they want it operational and for education if they seek better schooling, instead of voting based on caste or party lines.

Time to Change Bihar: Jan Suraaj’s Message

Prashant Kishor declared that the Jan Suraaj movement is for the rights of the public, not for any individual. He mentioned that our lives are a result of our parents’ grace and God’s blessings. He said now is the time to give back, not to take. Kishor criticized the BJP, RJD, and JDU, saying these parties are only playing politics for power. Jan Suraaj aims to empower the common person in Bihar, freeing politics from caste, religion, and corruption. He clarified that Jan Suraaj is emerging not as a celebrity campaign but as a genuine people’s movement, with farmers, teachers, students, and youth from all segments joining this journey of transformation.

Direct Attack on BJP and Samrat Choudhary

Prashant Kishor also severely criticized NDA’s potential Chief Ministerial candidate, Samrat Choudhary. He stated that the person the BJP now wants to make Chief Minister is a ‘seventh-grade fail’ and has been an accused in seven murder cases. He humorously noted that while Tejashwi Yadav at least admits to being ‘ninth-grade fail’ on camera, Samrat Choudhary does not even disclose when he passed Matric. He asked the public whether they wish to improve Bihar by making criminals their Chief Minister. He concluded that improvement in Bihar is impossible unless people call out wrongdoings.
