On Chinese platform Weibo, Realme confirmed that the GT 8 series will use BOE panels. These displays will feature 2K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate, clearly designed to appeal to mobile gaming enthusiasts. This display upgrade marks one of the standout highlights of the upcoming lineup.

A new Realme device with model number RMX5200 was spotted on the 3C database. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station claims this listing points to the Realme GT 8 Pro. According to the details, the phone could feature 120W wired charging. This would match the charging speed of its predecessor, the Realme GT 7 Pro. The tipster also suggested that the handset may house a massive 7,000mAh battery.
