Khamgaon: The Ganesh Utsav, which has been celebrated with great enthusiasm everywhere for the last ten days, came to an end on the day of Anant Chaturdashi on 6th September 2025. A heartfelt farewell was given to Vighnaharta Ganaraya by giving farewell slogans. The venerable Lakadi Ganpati located in Ayyachi Kothi in Sarafa area of ​​Khamgaon city was formally worshipped by District Police Superintendent Nilesh Tambe and former MLA Rana Dilipkumar Sananda at 9 am.

The Ganesh immersion procession was started in Khamgaon city. On this occasion, former MLA Sananda welcomed District Police Superintendent Nilesh Tambe, Chairman of the esteemed Lakadi Ganesh Mandal Trust Board Adv. RB Agarwal and Chairman of the Lakadi Ganesh Mandal Suraj B. Agarwal by giving them saffron dupattas and sweetened their mouths with laddus.

Also, like every year, on the day of the Ganesh Visarjan procession, this year too, the president and office bearers of the Ganesh Mandal who participated in the Visarjan procession at Mahavir Chowk were welcomed with trumpet blasts by the Rana Foundation and the Nationalist Congress Party.
